range, these are an integrated DOL Motor Starter Protector, and they exceed
the most stringent standards in motor control.
Designed to the continuity of service standard AS3947-6-2 the 'Total
Co-ordination' feature of TeSys Model U provides maximum safety
to plant and personnel in the event of a short circuit.

The patent design provides 'no welding'
of the starter contacts as permitted under type 2 short circuit conditions.
This allows the production assets of your plant to be utilized to
their maximum efficiency.
TeSys U with its 45mm modular compact design performs the following
functions: |
Protection and control of 1-phase or 3-phase motors:
Isolation breaking function
Electronic short-circuit protection
Electronic overload protection
Power switching
Control of the application:
Alarming (warning protection function alarms, e.g. overload pending)
Status monitoring (running, ready, fault?)
Application monitoring (running time, number faults, motor current
values
Fault logging (last 5 faults saved, together with motor parameter
values).
These functions can be added by selecting control units
and function modules which clip into the power base. The product can therefore
be customized at the last moment and using accessories simplify or completely
eliminate wiring between components.
